AlmightyJoshaeus
Hi all! My animals in my 10 gallon saltwater tank are doing well, but the feather duster is steadily leaning over...now it is almost resting on the sandbed. Is that normal? It spends most of its time with its feeding apparatus extended unless we startle it. Thanks Quote Link to comment
patback
Sounds like it could be slantabit disease. Got a pic? A lot of soft tubes worms end up with this. I wish pet stores would stop selling them! 2 Quote Link to comment
AlmightyJoshaeus
Is it fatal? Quote Link to comment

Clown79
Maybe it's just moving. It is possible for it to move from flow. I've had 2 in my tank for 3.5yrs, other than broadcast feeding 1 time a week, nothing special is done for them. They are filter feeders. Quote Link to comment
patback
You could lightly zip tie the tube to a popsicle stick for a few weeks. Maybe 1 in each quadrant of the tube. The splints will make it sturdy while it fights off whatever is causing it to lose its rigidity. My gosh, I really do hope it is Slantabit. 3 Quote Link to comment
BlennyBoi
this might not work, but maybe coral glue? to stop him sliding Quote Link to comment
