I was wondering...would it be helpful to set stocking rules for NPS corals and similar filter feeders, like we do for fish? For example, perhaps each coral colony could be equivalent in bio-load to one fish, so in my 10 gallon with a royal gramma I could have two NPS corals/other NPS critters.
