AlmightyJoshaeus
I understand some NPS critters tend to get encrusted with algae if exposed to bright light. The question is, how much light is bright? I was thinking of using an 800 lumen, 5000k light bulb for my 10 gallon NPS setup...its sole purpose is to make the corals and other animals more visible, but I want to be sure it won't encourage enough algae growth to smother the corals. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
Clown79
If the tank is only going to be nps, any light can be used for your viewing. Unfortunately plant life(algae) grow best 3000-7000k. Quote Link to comment
