AlmightyJoshaeus
Talk about ghetto aquarium setups! Would it even be possible to have a pico (micro?) in a 2 liter bottle? Thanks 🙂 Quote Link to comment
paneubert
Sure. The dimensions are not ideal, but it could be done. There are people who have done gumball machines, coffee machines, etc... A lot of "flower" vases. A 2 liter soda bottle is not that much different. Actually probably a hell of a lot easier to "drill" if you want to plumb in some bulkheads for circulation or external heat or something. 1 Quote Link to comment

Thanks 🙂  registering in at about .5 gallons of water, sure. Easily can be done. That 3/4" (or is it 5/8 ) spout at the top would be the hindering point. The pico contest was won by a coffee pot (.75 gallons) Quote Link to comment
AlmightyJoshaeus
I was planning to just hack the top off if I did this (or, alternately, seek a bottle with a wider spout) Quote Link to comment
