Barbtank
I have a long tentacle anenome that I’ve had for a few months. Last night I saw this fuzzy covered round sphere right next to it (larger sphere pic). My sexy shrimp was actually eating off of it. The next morning the sphere had disappeared! Then a short time later another sphere appeared (smaller sphere pic) smaller than the one the night before and with less fuzz on it. Later that day, the sphere was gone again and the anenome went behind a rock for a while and then came back out. Haven’t seen the sphere since. Anyone seen this before? Quote Link to comment
Joevember
Not an egg. Probably poop from the nem. The eggs are tiny and it's practically impossible to breed them in an aquarium. Cuc makes quick work of that kind of stuff. Quote Link to comment
AbnormalReefer
The purple tips of the anemone make me think that this is actually a condylactis anemone, and not a long tentacle. If this is the case, get it out of there. I’ve heard nothing good of condy anemones. Quote Link to comment

AbnormalReefer
Just now, HarryPotter said: And I’ve heard nothing bad of them? 🤔 My apologies. I may have came off as aggressive. From what I’ve heard though they won’t host clownfish and can even eat them, which I’m sure nobody desires. I’ve heard their sting is very potent and can kill corals instantly. However, everything in this hobby is anecdotal. I may be wrong. Quote Link to comment

Just because they are not the best hosts for clowns doesn’t mean they’re no good IMO. I think they’re pretty, one of the only “white” critters one can have in a reef tank. Now I agree with you in that they have a bad reputation among reefers, and due to that I wouldn’t add one to my personal display. Quote Link to comment
Barbtank
Thanks for all the replies! I haven’t had any trouble with this anenome as far as eating any fish but my clowns haven’t tried to host. As far as it being poop, I’ve never seen these before and to have them show up two days in a row is pretty strange. Please let me know if there are any other thoughts 😊 Quote Link to comment
Joevember
Are you feeding often? Do you watch your tank closely? Quote Link to comment
