Christopher Marks
So many colonies, this reef is stunning! 😲 Are these all the ones that you harvest new frags from? Quote Link to comment

Thank you! 😊 We harvest frags from all of these mother colonies. When a colony reaches a certain size we will frag a large section to make a second or even third back up mother colony. 1 Quote Link to comment
A Little Blue
Amazing! Q: What are Alk/Ca/Mg levels on this tank? Also, are you feeding your corals and use fatty/amino acid? Quote Link to comment

And next logical question for potential costumer would be: will the Alk level difference (say 1-1.5 points) between your frag tank and customer’s tank matter? Would Alk shock/difference be an issue, if yes, what acclimation steps would you recommend to your customers or, the difference in Alk is too small to stress about? Quote Link to comment

You shouldn't have to worry about an alk shock with a difference of 1-1.5. Acclimate the coral with a slow drip line from the main display. That will negate any potential issues with the alk. 1 Quote Link to comment

I don’t know if you noticed, but all the colonies can be picked up! They have them on little holders with a stem, so easily removable to rearrange stuff or drag. Super cool. 3 Quote Link to comment
