Mike P
Anyone know what these white spots could be on my heteroxenia? I don’t see it on my other Xenia’s Quote Link to comment
Oldsalt01
New buds??? Interesting they only seem to be on the up-current side, or am I just imagining that? Quote Link to comment
Clown79
Looks like eggs or sacs of some sort. Do you dip all your corals? Quote Link to comment

Yes I dipped it when I first got it, I guess I could do another dip just to be safe. They have been there for awhile Quote Link to comment

They have been there for awhile Most dips only kill the adult not the eggs of any inverts that can be living and eating corals. The outer shell of the egg protects the embryo (are they even called that?) but it it is a nasty little hitch hiker it’ll take multiple dips to eradicate all of them over a few weeks. But I’m not sure what that is on the side of the Xenia definitely don’t think it’s new growth though Quote Link to comment
