I'm running some tests today but didn't notice any difference in temp between the two. smiz Posted October 1, 2018 Author Share Posted October 1, 2018 So tests are in. I still would like to try to cut a new styled diffuser to increase cooling, but as it stands now these are results. Temperature - increased by around 10 degrees F Par - Decreased around 10%-20% Verdict.....I'm ok with both of these and will be rocking them on my 52's! Quote Link to comment

lpsouth1978 Posted October 1, 2018 Share Posted October 1, 2018 Looks good. I ended up removing my diffusers because it turns out they were reducing PAR WAY too much. Without the diffusers I was getting 325 PAR middle of tank. With the diffusers, it went down to 150 PAR, same settings, same spot in tank. I may try again later, but with thinner and less frosted material. Quote Link to comment
