Hulio
I don't know a lot about snails, nor did I do a lot of research to figure this out for myself. But I did a image search and perhaps found my easy answer. I'm just looking to confirm that this would be a grove snail (Cepaea nemoralis)?https://youtu.be/ATigbfmTmp4 Answers usually don't come as easily as finding a similarity to an image online, but I think maybe this time, I may have found an easy match. This was filmed in Squamish, British Columbia - near Vancouver. Which would make this an invasive species if my ID is correct... Thanks in advance for any help! Quote Link to comment
RayWhisperer
Seems to be a pretty good match. There are a couple of others it could be, given the varying markings and color with each species. But I ain’t no land snail expert. http://www.bily.com/pnwsc/web-content/Land Snails.html Quote Link to comment
