How are the clownfish doing now? They're so tiny and cute

The Clownfish are doing great! Definitely getting more social and come to the front of the tank begging for food whenever I get close.

Today I got some hermit crabs and 2 emerald crabs to help with cleaning up some of the extra food on the sand. I also got a firefish, but it's been hiding in the rocks for now. I'll try and get a pic laterIMG_20181012_183901.thumb.jpg.8b29e91545c46c35e808f1d1104473c0.jpgIMG_20181012_184316.thumb.jpg.f0114f197495ebf78845359cb6c83594.jpg

It's been a little over a month since I've updated. A few weeks ago I got a tail spot blenny and he's been doing great, slowly becoming my favorite. In addition to him I also purchased a Zoa pack from Cultivated Reef and a rainbow ricordia. Oh, and I got pods all over my glass and back wall, now sure how they got there, but I am happy!

Here are some pictures, I need to find a better way to take pictures without so much color distortion from the LEDs.

Your tank looks really great. How did you upload a video like that? - Did you convert it to a gif?

The anemone got sucked into the gyre when it was moving around, luckily I was able to turn it off and watched the anemone pull itself out to hide. I turned the gyre to a different setting and turned the power down to 10%. It's been hiding inside of a cave for most of the day.

Nice tank but what anemone? You put an anemone in the tank already?

Your aquascape is awesome! How did you think through it to create something like this? What rock did you use? Thank you for sharing!

Thank you! I'm really happy how it turned out. Its dry rock made by Caribsea called Life Rock shapes

Excellent, I will get the same liferock. I really like how you scaped it. Was one 20lbs box enough for the tank?

How is the gyre pump doing for you? Is it too powerful?

Yes, the 20lb box was all I used and I broke some of the pieces to make the shapes I wanted. The gyre has been great, I only use it on 20%, any more than that and it will blow my sand around. I got it so I can use it on a larger tank one day.

Update: my tank has been battling cyano for a couple of weeks, my guess is that I've been overfeeding. I've been feeding less and I got some Phosguard and Purigen to run in my overflow chambers.

How big is the clam? If its small, make sure you add some phytoplankton to the water and keep some nitrates and Phosphates detectable.

The clam is roughly 2.5 inches. Keeping nitrates up hasn't been a problem, I usually have 10-15ppm lol. I plan on feeding some reef roids tomorrow also.
