How much does the IM SpinStream reduce return flow?

As the title suggest, I'm curious how much the IM Spin Stream nozzle actually reduces the flow of the return pump? I've heard people say its by about half. But is that a general rule for only the stock return @ 92gph, or for any return pump? What would you expect it to reduce the Sicce .5 @ 185gph to?

 50% is what most say and on any pump not just the stock pump

Half seems a bit high.  I'd go with 10-20%.

Out of the box new. 

 

Same goes for return pumps or wave makers. Wait a couple months and their performance drops if not maintain/clean. At least most of them or at the very least the ones I have/had.
