I'd say it's related to reducing the NoPox dose. Have you compared nitrate and phosphate levels now to what they were before you reduced the dose?

It doesn't necessarily mean you need to restore the old dose. But it does mean that since there's less carbon input into the tank, things have to get rebalanced and that will take time.

Thanks teeny! That makes a lot of sense, nitrates have been still staying between 2-5 since I reduced my feeding amount too.

So tank has been just chugging along. I performed my WC today and decided to take some 4 month photos including some before and afters. I have made the switch over to RS Blue Bucket and am working on getting my alk stable at 8 with dosing. All in all though pretty happy with where the tank is right now, still going to try to work on getting some non green corals in the tank to help balance it out.

Looking wonderful. I love the refelction photos!

Thanks Dave, I love the reflections too! It’s amazing see how much better color is looking since getting the duo back. You can really see it on the graphed cap on the top down shots, the first top down was right when I got the duo back and just about a month and a half later it’s now bright green and red and showing good growth.

This is one of my favorite scapes! The corals are doing really well. Nice job!

Thanks teeny! I really appreciate that, hopefully everything fills in nicely and makes the scape look even better!

Not too much to update, my green clown goby had a change in appetite and started munching on some of my SPS so he will be getting the boot as soon as I can catch him. I plan to bring him back to a LFS and switch him out for a tail spot blenny.

I won some auctions yesterday on a local Facebook group. Managed to get a frag of PC Rainbow, Magnificent Sunset Monti, Yoda zoa, and then picked up a frag of Diablo Milli whole I was there. $55 for everything with a credit I had with that local. Got everything in the tank and it was all opened and happy within an hour.

Also grabbed a new FTS while I was taking photo of the new stuff.

Really !? I had no idea GCG nipped at coral. That's crazy. Everything looks good though. How bad did the Goby mess with the sps ?

Ya I knew it was possible when I got it but had gone about 3 months with no issues. He did a decent number to the encrusting section of the pearl berry and a green acro too.

Dang, that sucks. I'm sure everything will bounce back. Too bad you don't have a sump to banish him to.

Ya it should come back fast I think. One day I’ll have a larger sumped system but no with my current house, 3rd floor condo.

I know he feeling. Whenever I get out of these apartments and can get a house,I will get a bigger sumped tank too. I hate not having one sometimes.

The one thing I really enjoy though is the size of WCs I deal with now are really easy. Even on a 60 gallon system I don’t even like thinking about doing a 15G WC haha

I pay $50 alone for a diablo frag about the same size....nice score!

Ya I was looking around last night after I got them and was surprised to see the normal cost of those frags, the PC Rainbow is typically around that price too I saw but got mine for $20.

So was able to get my GCG out of the tank today and went and dropped him off at a LFS for a small credit and picked up a tail spot blenny. Excited to have the acro eater out of the tank, but I really do love clown gobies and one day will get another one even if it goes in a sump. I’ll try to snap some pictures of the TSB but it might not be until after I get back from Chicago next week.

Awesome new additions @skyscraper2290, you have such a great collection of coral now! I love seeing your side by side growth progress photos too, this has really come a long ways in just six months, so much growth! Keep up the good work 👍

Great new years photos of all the fish too, btw. These deserve to be on another page!

Decided on the first day of the new year to grab some fish photos because I haven’t done that in a while. Love how peaceful all these fish are together and because of their size provide a nice scale to the tank.

Thanks for stopping by Mr. Marks! I appreciate the kind words! I feel like the tank is doing pretty good and has come along quite a bit. I am dosing now and have been seeing some frags really taking off. I’m looking forward to getting the 5 month photos up here in a couple weeks because I really do love the comparison photos because looking at the tank everyday you just don’t notice how much growth has really happened.

I love mine but @ninjamyst might disagree on them being the best tanks. I was actually really surprised when I started back in the hobby that he wasn’t around anymore.

I loved mine till it leaks =(.  I still miss the shallowness of my Pico S III.

They really are gorgeous tanks, yours was absolutely stunning too. I almost went with the SIII originally too but wanted the water volume of the standard III.

So here is the only decent photo I was able to get so far of the TSB, really cool fish and already know I’m gonna love his personality in the tank. Once I’m back from my work trip I’ll be working on putting together a 5 month update for the tank.
