Any algae? Any issues? If not, I wouldn’t worry about it. 2 Quote Link to comment

specore
What reading did the LFS get? I've never owned a Hannah checker, but have always wondered how much good a device which has an error of .04 ppm does. So .13 could be anything from .09 to .17, which is literally an error of + or - 30%. To the question though, it does sound like you probably have excess nutrients. May just want to watch the amount you feed more closely and/or make sure you are on top of your water changes. 2 Quote Link to comment
A Little Blue
It’s a loaded question. I have seen amazing tanks with 0.02 up to 0.15. However, I all cases parameters were rock steady over period of many years. But generally, recommended levels are between 0.02-0.05max. Edit: I have no idea what my phosphates are but I have none or extremely little algae of any kind in my display so I simply don’t bother. The way things look are the gauges I use the most. 3 Quote Link to comment
C2 da fish
I did notice some algae on my rock that’s the closest to the light it was green and flat but I had reds on my hydra 26 I have now turned off the reds on my light completely I also just installed a Cheato algae in a phosphate 150 reactor with a reverse cycle on a night but I’m going to do a 20 percent water change tomorrow all the coral doing great and fish 1 Quote Link to comment

They said my phosphates where good and said about 2 or 4 using api test kits wasn’t sure what they meant but they said I was fine 1 Quote Link to comment
