AlmightyJoshaeus
Hi all! I wanted some suggestions...what would be a good, bold display fish for a 5 gallon reef tank? The tank will have a lot of macroalgae, so nutrients are unlikely to be an issue, and I would like to keep shrimp with the fish. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
Clown79
I keep a bicolor blenny in my 5.5 There aren't alot of fish that can be kept in a 5g. Some have kept an ocellaris clown. Quote Link to comment
AlmightyJoshaeus
Would gobies work? I was thinking of Discordipinna griessingeri, which is a mere 2 inches long. Quote Link to comment
Joevember
It could probably work. Just have enough rock in there for him to hide and a sandbed. Quote Link to comment

I’m not sure you would ever see them, I thought about getting some for the longest time, until a buddy I know put 5 in a 3 gallon and has only seen them once. If going the tiny goby route look at the green banded goby. Quote Link to comment
