Thank you! Yeah, definitely can be an issue... my emeralds sometimes eat the pipe organ polyps. I tried to catch them, and the cleaner shrimp, in the past to get rid of them, but now I’m so glad I couldn’t catch them. Overall they are really fun and interesting to keep and the pipe organs seem to grow back fast enough so it seems to be okay for now... I have so many invasive corals in my tank, maybe they’ll help keep things in check. 🤞🤞🤞

No they tend to just go after the nice ones in my experience 🤣 banished a few to the terlet tank but I like the emeralds they can be pretty entertaining...mine was fighting with its reflection this morning for like 30 minutes

I guess I get it that they are the earthworms of the reef,  but I DO NOT like bristleworms 😬😬😬

Hi Jackal! Yes, it is!!! 🙂

Along with a baby sun right under it, to the left of the bristleworms. Curious to see how all these baby suns are going to get along with the other corals as they get bigger.

And of course any question about a particular coral is viewed in my mind as the perfect opportunity to photograph said coral, so here we go haha 😜

Just noticed that my GSP frags met up for the first time today... not the greatest pic since the lights are going down for the night and everything’s closing up, but I still thought it was cool. Interested to see how they grow together. I still have the purplish GSP sitting on my sandbed, considering adding it to the back wall too, but not so sure about that.

Holy encrusting zoanthids... look at the spider sponge now, it’s 1 am and I just came in to make sure I turned the pump and powerhead back on after feeding. (The gorgonian is shedding tonight.)

I saw a spider sponge at an LFS yesterday and thought of yours.

Haha nah he’s cleaning it... he’s a good little crabber most of the time. Hoping he’ll eat the hydroids that are growing on the GSP. 🤞

My hydroids are out of control. Starting to think that’s what killed the nems lawn sent me. Both rocks they settled on are covered in them. And nothing near them last long . I’ve tried to get rid of them but they are mother ####ers

Totally... hydroids are my nemesis. I have found that emeralds eat them a bit and dolabella sea hares eat them fairly well but they are difficult to keep in a tank without much algae. I’ve heard yellow coris wrasse may eat them, but I’m already fully stocked so I can’t really test that out.
