Well, I need to work on the exposure, but posting anyway. I love taking pictures of my tanks while enjoying my morning coffee! 🙂

Thank you! ☺️ Would love to to see a pic of your clove polyps!!

My December 24, 2017 post had a couple in view. They came on a small frag plug and started growing like a weed shortly after. When I shut my tank down it had already spread and covered the entire rock in the front center.

Oh yes, I had forgotten about your move. Do you have a tank running now?

Nope. when I moved to CA (S of Fresno) I shut down my tank and gave my corals, including the clove polyp to a friend starting his 7 gallon. He had to trade it in because it was taking over his tank!

I upgraded my lights and just sent them in for an iridescence booster at Steve's LED. I plan on getting things up and running in December after I get back from Thailand. :)

More pictures!

Oh there’s no stopping me now that I have my new clip on lenses!!! 🤣🤣🤣

I wonder if if there’s a limit to how many pictures we can post? If anyone doesn’t like pictures, they may need to unfollow me haha. 😜

It's a pink one! Used to see those a lot more than you do now. Wish I could find one. If you ever frag it and are willing to ship, let me know.

Love the name!  🙂

Thanks! We were watching the Hunger Games movies at the time, and thus my livestock names haha.

mandarin - Finnick

clowns - Katniss & Peeta

firefish - Trinket

cleaner shrimp - Plutarch

BTA - District 12 (though the clowns never did host there, and it’s now in my other tank)

Finnick seemed especially fitting for a mandarin!

Sure! Though things seem to grow super slow in my Biocube (aside from the sun corals and hydroids), so I’m not certain it will ever get to that point.

The pictures look great.  What is the coral between the RFA and sun coral?  Some kind of polyps I'm guessing?

That’s a pipe organ. ☺️  I have two different ones in my tank, and they are so pretty, but unfortunately they are apparently also pretty tasty, so my emeralds pluck and eat the polyps sometimes when they are hungry. 😬😤 They also like to eat the tiny blue star polyps, which haven’t spawned yet in my tank... hoping they spawn before they are all eaten... trying to go for the blue star polyp encrusted rock effect (instead of the hydroid encrusted rock effect haha).

Clownfish settling in for the night in the Nuvo 10. The song “Go to Sleep Little Baby” coincidentally started playing as I was taking pics. 🙂

Here are some pics of my pipe organs right now, and realized I actually have three types:
