Saving half bleeched branching Monti?

I have a branching Monti or at least I think that is what it is. See the pictures. I first placed it in my tank quite low but it still started to bleach due to my AI prime being to strong for it. I reduced the light power to 75% and the bleeching seems to stopped. But the entire back seems to have bleeched with only the inner parts looking alive. Thing is I can only tell it's alive due to the green colour. I have never seen any polyp extension. The back of it must be dead as it has algae growth on it. How should I proceed? Frag off the good bits or leave it? If it's frag then where should I place the frags in the tank.

Dip in Bayer Advance Complete insect killer then iodine dip then frag what’s left of it. You might be able to save some.

Why the dip there is no pests on it?

It helps with infections when you frag. Especially now that it's already stressing.  I generally dip every coral when I frag,  parasite or not .
