Oldsalt01
I had always thought Acans reproduced by splitting, but I have a double-headed one that seems to be sending out little polyps from under it's heads that sort of resemble paly or zoa polyps. They're not big enough yet to positively ID as Acan heads, but the tiny little centers are bright green like the big heads. Opinions, please. Quote Link to comment
MainelyReefer
That's your Acan growing, these small buds will slowly grow into full size heads 1 Quote Link to comment
Reefkid88
Definitely new heads coming in,but feed feed feed feed feed. I would feed mine 3-4 times a week each head individually lightly. Then right before a water change I would feed SUPER heavy and then siphon out all the food that settles at the bottom. I was using Reef Roids,Fuel and a few other things in a mixture. Oldsalt01
Been doing Reef Roids to them once a week, an occasional crushed, soaked pellet, and 1-2 gut-loaded frozen brine shrimp for each head, every other day when the fish get fed. Guess I'm finally doing things right. My Acan's are budding, the Morning Glory Zoa's and Red People Eater Paly's are spreading, and I think my Radioactive Dragon's Eyes are getting ready to branch out too. PLUS, I've learned so much from my tank, as well as the kind people on this forum, in the last 3 years. Now, if I could find some Rasta's or Sunny D's at a reasonable price, I'd be a contented man, lol. Quote Link to comment
xthunt
I got Rasta and Sunny D (and others) from a guy that posts in the classified section once in a while. Ordered from him a few times and never had issues. Decent prices and choice on shipping speed($). I used priority shipping, but that might be at the buyers risk. He didn’t have sunny d listed, but I asked and he did have some I was able to buy. Quote Link to comment
