shrimpo
Hello fellow reefers, I don't know how I got back to the hobby after a long time but I am here now and need advise. What would you suggest, All In One tank or one that is drilled at the bottom with sump inside the stand? I want to get a reef tank between 60 and 100 gallons. Quote Link to comment
Lawnman
I would always suggest a tank with a sump over a AIO. Red sea makes a nice tank that’s plug and play minus a pump and light. Quote Link to comment
specore
Definitely drilled w/ sump for anything over 50 gallons. Quote Link to comment
xthunt
If I was to get a tank that big, it would have a sump. Quote Link to comment
shrimpo
Great, I am going after 75 gallon tank, will keep you updated. Quote Link to comment
Clown79
For that size, I'd go with a sump. Quote Link to comment

You can do HOB but there are just so many reasons to go with a sump on a bigger tank (ie more efficient protein skimmers, increased waterflow, ability to create a refugium in sump).
