Jon-Paul
Posted this in lighting forum, but never managed a response. Looking to set up a 3 gallon JBJ Pico. Saw the Aqua Knight and was intrigued. Seems to have the colors I am looking for and is more spread out that a PAR30 or comparable. Is it overkill? It is dimmable, and I would rather have too much power that I can scale up if I need it in the future. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079JTB5Q5/ref=psdc_2975458011_t3_B007ZK80YG Quote Link to comment

Reefkid88
Absolutely. There is actually a tank that is stocked with sps lit with one and I think par38's on the edges. Quote Link to comment
calabdiver
I run the smaller 13w light on my system and it's doing well. I don't think the light your looking at is overkill. However probably not needed I guess it really depends on what your wanting to do with the tank. Quote Link to comment
Reefkid88
If the light can be dimmed, there is no such thing as overkill IMO. Quote Link to comment
