Could I- *Do a 50% WC on my 16 gal (taking out about 6 gal of water) *Make up 6 gal of water *use some of my LR from my 16gal for QT tank *use both the new water and old water to start the QT tank. * I have my heater and pump from the 12 gal. would this work? I have been doing some reading and it seems it needs filtration, so LR was suggested. But I could just run some purigen in the back chamber. Quote Link to comment
