SavaS
Anyone know what coral this is? Looks like tiny zoas or plays but they skrink into a mat and don't look like zoas when they are closed... Thanks. Quote Link to comment
banasophia
Maybe a goniopora or a cup coral? I’m not at all sure. Can you get a picture with it closed up and also pics under white lights or with the blue filtered out some? Quote Link to comment
jambon
I have something similar which came in on a live rock. Mine looks like a piece of leather coral. Maybe a toadstool... Quote Link to comment

SavaS
Tank lights are off so I tried to get a few more pictures. I'm limited to a camera phone. After looking at pictures based on suggestions I think it might be a green goniopora but I don't know. Hopefully these will help. They extend about a half inch over the course of the day. Thanks. RayWhisperer
It’s a goniopora. I think what’s throwing people off is the apparent polyp size. Gonis come in both large and small. Long polyp and short. https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.advancedaquarist.com%2F2005%2F10%2Faafeature2_album%2Fburgosi1.jpg&imgrefurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.advancedaquarist.com%2F2005%2F10%2Faafeature2&docid=fOocQ0o4mcyyXM&tbnid=KRO2tO4IgNfweM%3A&vet=10ahUKEwi28bD1tJ_cAhVL1oMKHRmJBd0QMwiQAigwMDA..i&w=800&h=676&hl=en-us&client=safari&bih=340&biw=479&q=goniopora&ved=0ahUKEwi28bD1tJ_cAhVL1oMKHRmJBd0QMwiQAigwMDA&iact=mrc&uact=8 Edit. I thought that first image would show up as something other than a link of a google search. Either way, it brings up the intended picture for me. Hope it dies for you too. 1 1 Quote Link to comment

RayWhisperer
Yeah, as far as typos go, that was a good one. I re read it and thought, wow, that could be taken the wrong way. 1 Quote Link to comment
