Anyone know what coral this is? Looks like tiny zoas or plays but they skrink into a mat and don't look like zoas when they are closed... Thanks. 20180711_174424.thumb.jpg.d43a0c0852b59add762232c09a158170.jpg20180711_174705.thumb.jpg.3c5ce950dd88c03f6f160a960ab5ebdd.jpg20180711_174634.thumb.jpg.8d73277f070c0adb0246561a3cba16d4.jpg

Maybe a goniopora or a cup coral? I’m not at all sure. Can you get a picture with it closed up and also pics under white lights or with the blue filtered out some?

Looks like colonial hydroids.

Tank lights are off so I tried to get a few more pictures. I'm limited to a camera phone. After looking at pictures based on suggestions I think it might be a green goniopora but I don't know. Hopefully these will help. They extend about a half inch over the course of the day. Thanks. 20180713_073634.thumb.jpg.c00242a058685594c1d42d5d7357dc25.jpg20180713_073555.thumb.jpg.c9790453103096f42b21e9a4821fa7c9.jpg20180713_073545.thumb.jpg.f96edf2aa1fa637a94dca7cefce334f0.jpg20180713_073604.thumb.jpg.5f02e4b6b7ee7748f29f7d883be70519.jpg

It’s a goniopora. I think what’s throwing people off is the apparent polyp size. Gonis come in both large and small. Long polyp and short.
