Nano_Addict
Hey everyone, Yesterday I was disassembling my sicce syncra 1.5 return pump and the tiny rubber gasket that helps hold the impeller shaft in place fell off and went down the drain. No luck on recovering it even after taking the drain apart. Without this piece of rubber the pump is essentially unusable and very loud. Has this happened to anyone? Any advice on getting this part replaced? Thanks Quote Link to comment
jldesign
small piece or airline hose maybe same size? Quote Link to comment
Martin Riggs
Pic? I’m thinking a plumbing supply section and a xacto knife could work for you. Quote Link to comment
Nano_Addict
Both decent thoughts. I was hoping to not have to DIY something, since I just bought the pump a couple months ago. However, Sicce has not responded to any emails yet. 😕 Quote Link to comment
Nano_Addict
Anyone ever use this website? https://aquariumconnection.com/detail.php?ID=4176 I've had no luck getting in touch with Sicce... super customer service. Price on the Aquarium connection website seems a bit steep, but unless I DIY something this might be my only other option. Quote Link to comment
Martin Riggs
How much was pump? Impeller price seems steep. Quote Link to comment
Nano_Addict
Agreed. Pump was $70 https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/sicce-syncra-silent-1-5-pump-357-gph.html However, I haven't seen the impeller for less than $25 that anywhere. Pretty frustrating. Quote Link to comment
