zoothefreak
Is the coral beauty a reef safe fish? Some sites suggest that they are and some say they pick on soft and hard corals... anyone with any experience keeping them peacefully alongside mushrooms, zoos, brain, tree, anemones and leather fingers without them making a meal of any? Reefmaniac
Technically, they are reef safe: They don't eat corals, but they may "nip" while grazing for algae. It's just incidental contact. Keeping them fed will help reduce this tendency. Link to comment

coralreefer
cbs are grazers and free swimmers. please don't place in a small tank - 30g minimum, some say 55g. i kept one for a long time in a 35g fo tk. Link to comment
bBoYLXIX
i have one in my 55g. its a kool fish. i think it would do fine in a reef tank. but it does "nip" around a little. mine just mostly eats the algae off the rocks and glass. Link to comment
