SubMariner0805
Hey everyone, I am going on a vacation for about 2.5 weeks. I typically do this every summer and haven't had a problem yet but I was wondering if you all keep your filter floss in the tank when you're gone if no one is there to change it? Or should I forgo the floss. My thoughts are that if the floss gets all crummy and is left in there it may cause more problems than good. I am just looking for best practice here. Thank you as always. Quote Link to comment

LogicalReefs
Out and then when you get back use a turkey baster to blow out the back chambers to get any debris that went back there and use filter floss to catch it when it recirculates. Quote Link to comment
