Sherman
I just get a AIO tank. Was setting up and now decide to add a skimmer. But has very limit space in the overflow area especially with all the piping in the overflow area. Between the pipe and the overflow glass panel is less then 70 mm space. I has try the Tunze 9004 so far. Cannot go in Any skimmer that can fit into the less then 70 mm space Quote Link to comment
ReefGoat
If you're ok with it being an airstone skimmer instead of the pump skimmer. I'd try the ReefGlass. I can't say enough good things about it. It's not been in my tank very long and I'm already pulling nice tea colored skim. It's small footprint, ease of use and no microbubble were the main selling points for me. You should look into it. ReefGoat
Tetra whisper from Walmart. I think it's the "20" version. It was like 13.99 1 hour ago, Sherman said: Thank You ReefGoat for viewing and sharing . No problem. Quote Link to comment

I would consider air stone skimmer but pump noise can be very annoying and low noise level is one of my setup priorities. IDK maybe technology have changed since the days of my very first under gravel filter? Quote Link to comment
ReefGoat
I keep mine in the cabinet. It's pretty quiet. Way more quiet than the ghost skimmer that was in the tank first. The ghost skimmer made a loud fizzing noise. Quote Link to comment

If it doesn’t work for me, ReefGlass might be worth looking into. My intenssion is to run skimming only several hrs per day. Thanks for info. Quote Link to comment
Sherman
Shall I remove the hard pvc piping and run hose instead? Or maybe run triton method without skimmer? Quote Link to comment
