MSunkin23
I have kept several types of Euphyllia including torches and frogspawn. If my memory serves me correctly the torch and frogspawn had a chalky rough branching skeleton. However, my very healthy hammer which is splitting, has a slimy smooth skeleton from head down to its base. Almost looks like an uncooked steak bone. Its so slippery if I pick up the coral I have to be careful it does not slip out of my hands. Is this normal for branching hammers? Quote Link to comment
jamescstein
It's small. As the coral grows the base will lengthen and the flesh will recede some. 2 Quote Link to comment
