Welcome to the community @bluegreen! 👋

Birdsnest and other SPS coral may be difficult with the stock lighting, but I think you should follow your heart towards zoanthids and other soft coral. There's so many great options just in that genre alone, and they won't need such intense lighting like SPS.

Scape looks great!.

I also have an evo they look great for there price point.

Just a suggestion get rid of the stock sponge as your tank mature it will become a nitrate factory.

I highly recommend the intank media basket.   Even makes maintenance easier.

Do they make one specifically for the EVO?

yay another EVO! not sure about birdsnest, but I managed to keep montipora and pocillopora under the stock light for some time

Nice, yeah I think my birdsnest dreams may have to stay in my dreams. Where did you position the montipora and pocillopora? Also what species?

I have pocillopora damicornis and red montipora setosa. they are high up in the tank  about 3-4" from the light.

Yes they do.

Thanks, looking into this...how should I go about switching it out? Do I need to be concerned of the established bio filter? Can I just swap and be good to go?

Nice, I may have to look into this further down the road. Just got my first LPS two days ago (Darwin Hammer Euphyllia)!
