bennyd
I may end up having to go smaller. LOL That's almost 400 gallons at that size. Buying a skimmer, return pump, and lighting for that large of a tank will be a car loan! LOL Quote Link to comment
seabass
A few more 7' tank options: 84 x 30 x 30 = 327 gallons 84 x 36 x 24 = 314 gallons 84 x 30 x 24 = 262 gallons Making the tank a little shorter should help with lighting. 1 Quote Link to comment
bennyd
Thanks for that info @seabass. I was actually thinking about maybe only having one section of the tank be a "reef". Kind of like in the wild, not the entire ocean is a reef, that would help save a ton on lightning, and I'd still be able to have some large fish like I've always wanted. I've always wanted to have a couple of large tangs. An achilles tang mostly. LOVE the colors. Just not sure if I would ever want to spend that much on a fish! LOL!! I'm going to make this thing happen one way or another though! 2 Quote Link to comment
