Joevember
I had a JBJ 25w macro glow light, but the blub is out and I can't find a replacement bulb under $30. I found this led panel for growing plants on amazon and thought it might be good for macros. Any thoughts? It is only $26 and 45w. I put the spectrum it claims in a picture. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IVQ96KY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_10y.AbXT2S9JB Edit: my fuge is a 1' cube in my sump. Quote Link to comment
Nocturnal
It would probably work just fine. I bought my plant grow light for the fuge on amazon as well and it's working far better than the JBJ fuge light I used previously. This is the one I'm using. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LX1EO3W/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I'm also playing around with a grow light I picked up from Costco on my display fuge but that acke light has been working great. 1 Quote Link to comment
Joevember
After 1 week, I can say that these lights are working amazingly. I have them running 15.5 hours a day and I have a 2 layer fuge. I have chaeto on top of some egg crate and grape calurpa beneath. The chaeto nearly doubled in size and the calurpa is spreading very nicely. I started with about a baseball size chaeto and 2 branches of calurpa. If you want a cheap light, then get one of these! Quote Link to comment
