Need the led gurus to reply

Currently running a CC par 38 24w full spectrum 4” or less above the water with the factory screen top on an im 10. Bout to pull the trigger on a kessil a80 and was wondering if I could just got right to full intensity or if it would need any acclimation? Looks as if the kessil gooseneck will raise the height to 5-6” if that matters I know it does but don’t know how to compare these lights and no access to a par meter.
