Hey Gang, I've been a member of Nano-Reef for about 12 years. I am sad to say that I have lost both of my Picasso clownfish recently. They have been with me pretty much all of that time. They have provided a lot of enjoyment to family and friends over the years. I don't own a dog or cat, just fish. They will be missed.

 

The search will begin for a new pair.

Unfortunately, that’s a problem with line breeding. A wild clown will live 20+ years. You got 12, you did well, that’s more than most will get. I have a friend who’s a clown breeder. He’s told me designers average about 7 or 8.

Very sorry for your loss. I currently have a Clarkii which is going on 2 years. She's a jerk and a real nipper/badass, but I love her. Best wishes on your hunt for a new pair.
