Fishless Reef Keepers - Have You Found Pods Troublesome?

Quick question for those keeping reefs sans fish, have you found pod populations left unchecked can harass your corals?

No problems but then again, my old cleaner shrimp hunted all my amphipods into extinction. Copepods, no problems with my corals.

I ran my tank for about 3 years as corals only. Never had an issue with pods, the population would come and go.

My pico ran into this issue, but the pods are of a larger variety and I would never see an issue with most that are commercially available like at AlgaeBarn.  The ones I had trouble with came from aquarium depot(they look more like little shrimp from the tidal pools at the beach).  Now that I threw a fish in the issue is winding down.  They consume acan, Zoa, and blasto flesh.  But they are an exception, all other pods have been model citizens IME.
