DarkMagic
Quick question for those keeping reefs sans fish, have you found pod populations left unchecked can harass your corals? Quote Link to comment
Red_Blenny
No problems but then again, my old cleaner shrimp hunted all my amphipods into extinction. Copepods, no problems with my corals. 1 Quote Link to comment
Kellie in CA
I ran my tank for about 3 years as corals only. Never had an issue with pods, the population would come and go. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
MainelyReefer
My pico ran into this issue, but the pods are of a larger variety and I would never see an issue with most that are commercially available like at AlgaeBarn. The ones I had trouble with came from aquarium depot(they look more like little shrimp from the tidal pools at the beach). Now that I threw a fish in the issue is winding down. They consume acan, Zoa, and blasto flesh. But they are an exception, all other pods have been model citizens IME. 1 Quote Link to comment
