It’s 24” height so equivalent to midsize PaxBellum. Similar size, heat sink, overall design. If anyone knows who made this reactor pls chime in. Here are few pics: Also got two fish for my frag tank. Nothing fancy, just good working fish. Bookshelf is starting to get crowded 😉 3 Quote Link to comment

A Little Blue
Corals from AquaSD are doing really good so far. With corals on sale and additional %30 off I couldn’t resist getting some blueish acropora pack. Should be here on Friday. I was shocked how many corals they have sold over few hrs from announcing additional sale. Half of the corals I wanted were GONE! Also, my BTA almost committed suicide by getting sucked into the RFG nuzzle. It lost some tentacles but it seems to be OK (I hope). Skimmer in 30L is now on schedule - 12hrs ON and 12hrs Off. 5 Quote Link to comment
A Little Blue
I got this guy as a bonus from fellow reefer a month ago. It was super brown beauty. lol But it starts to color up a bit. Wonder if anyone knows what it is? Got two more freebies that I can’t identify. One of those came in with AquaSD acro pack. Pretty sure it’s acan of some sort. Not that I really care after all, it’s a freebie. 3 1 Quote Link to comment

It’s always interesting to see what will grow out of those ugly brown corals that nobody wants. Lol Here is another one from freebie collection. And NO, I never ask for freebies or extras. Just in case someone was wondering. 😏 Both look like Millepora to me. ******** 8/26 Rocks seems to be pretty filled up with various frags (mostly SPS). Almost 50 corals altogether and around 10 sponges, Gorgonians and shrooms/anemones. Gonna stop adding anything for a while and let the corals get some growth. Eventually, I might add few encrusting Montis and a Chalice or two. Filtration is working efficiently enough to handle the tank. Light is also sufficient for now. I have one older Kessil 150 just in case shadowing will become more of an issue. 8/27 Cleaned up detritus in new frag tank (gonna need more efficient solution to lift detritus off the bottom and force it into the overflow chamber for polishing). Added some extra GFO since tank was initially running on a single, small bag of Nano Blue ChemiPure. Moved GSP magnet rock and mount it on the back wall. Frag-mounted some Tonga LR that’s going to be mounted sometime later, onto the back wall GSP rock. Hopefully GSP will grow over it. Increased the flow of the return pump for better circulation. Fans with smart controller are doing a great job at keeping temperature inside the cabinet at 78 degrees. Without it, temperatur goes as high as 84-85, despite room temperature of 72/73. Test frags in this tank are doing good so far. With few more tweaks and a bit more time, I feel that this will make a great mix-coral frag tank (including more difficult SPS). 2 Quote Link to comment
A Little Blue
☝🏻Few updates above if interested.☝🏻 Spot with Nr.6 make a cute pair. Hunting together side by side. Nr.6 for pods and Spot for fresh algae. Decided to use SeaGrape algae as a compost for my home plants. That’s a 2 weeks worth of growth. 1 Quote Link to comment
A Little Blue
Keep finding this s**t stars in my frag tank. Also posted short vid on fellow reefer thread so I though that I might as well post it here. Lol And finally, I assume that my Circus Goby is gone since I haven’t seen him in months. I figure that I could move SixLine from quarantine tank to the main 30L but I am afraid that Tailspot might become super lonely (they make cute team). So, I ordered Curacao Chromis. Cool, harmless, reef safe fish. I promised myself not to buy more frags and these coral vendors keep teasing with good sales. Was thinking about something from WWC but holly crap.... those guys are expensive. Perhaps I’ll get something from somewhere else, place I have good experience with. Quote Link to comment

I am telling you.... as soon as I think that I’m out, they pull you back in. 😏 Yeah, this Chromis is kinda rare and I need something like that in my tank. Sixline would have been a better working fish. They go after pests of all kinds.... including nudis (hint, hint). But I can always move him from quarantine tank for few week to 30L if needed. You should look into wrasses to keep your tank pests free. Mystery Wrasse perhaps? You would like that fish. Quote Link to comment

The second one might be one of the tabling types perhaps? But I am not stressing over it. I like them both. Strangely, they started encrusting within few weeks while other frags that came in around the same time, went into hibernation or went up and out as far as growth is concern. Thanks for your input. I’m really bad with coral names or families. My philosophy is simple, if it grows, than fine and if it doesn’t like my tank, so be it (don’t let the door hit you on the way out). Lol I don't pretend to know these things either. IME though milli's have a very organized and distinct scale-like (as MICoast put it) look, which these both lack. Of course, the term acro can mean just about anything 🙂. The second one almost looks like a bottle bruch acro to me, just from the growth pattern. Like I said though, I'm far from an expert. 1 Quote Link to comment
mitten_reef
The pink one looks a lot like this Formosa stag from LA. Its really hard to tell on the other one, but def still an acro. 2 Quote Link to comment
