Algae on dry rock

So I got some Marshall and Fiji rock from someone bought a tank from. It has been sitting for 8 months out of water and has some dried algae on it. More like some rocks are hairy but it is white and dry. Would a normal rodi water cycle then salt cycle be good enough to rid it or should I do something else? I've heard of people bleaching and giving vinegar baths, is that something I should consider? I've already pressure washed it, I still need to scrub it as well. Also was thinking of scaping like this what do you think? It will be going into a Cadlight 39 Pro.

Thanks much everyone for the help

I always bleach rock that has been used and dried.

I soak in bleach for 24 hours.

Then I rinse it well and let it dry completely.

I rinse again and let soak in freshwater for 24 hours.

Can I use one of my buckets for that or should I use ones I won’t use for water later?

That is fine just give it a good Rinse
