Gojo
I have a 4g pico that is coral-only, no fish. I recently added a couple of Astrea snails (2) to take care of some algae growth. They made quick work of it and now patrol the tank looking for something to eat. From a coral food/snail food perspective, how do you keep the nutrient level up enough to keep them healthy? I have been dropping a few food pellets into the tank every few days. Anyone using other methods in their coral-only or fish-less tanks? Quote Link to comment
Sailingeric
No harm in feed them a few pellets or algae food. I have a couple shrimp and 4 crabs in my tank and I make sure to drop in some algae pellets every couple of days to make sure they have food. I know they are getting because it is gone from sand in two or three days. Quote Link to comment
