spec33
I recently found a 29 gallon biocube on craigslist for 200 with pretty much everything I need to get started. I'm trying to keep my total spending under 300 to get the tank started I just wasnt sure what kind of rock to use. I think I would like to use dryrock to cut down on costs and to give me more time to decide on an aquascape. Any recomendations on what kind of rock I should get? Quote Link to comment
Sailingeric
Like you, I was trying to keep my 29 gallon tank low budget so the wife unit would not kill me. I got Liferock by Caribsea for $2.99 a pound from my LFS. I bought 3 big rocks and a couple smaller ones for around $50. Quote Link to comment
seabass
I like the dry rock from Reef Cleaners: https://www.reefcleaners.org/aquarium-store/rock It's just over $2 a pound, shipped. 1 Quote Link to comment
