Maximus52
I modified the Hydor Slim Skim Nano to fit into the first chamber of Biocube 32. I removed the two black magnet holders to decrease the width about .5 inch and glued the magnets to the inside of the rear panel. The magnets still had a strong enough hold to keep the skimmer in place, and the skimmer fit in and out without forcefully pushing into the chamber. I was worried that putting the skimmer body directly in the glass would result in a loud vibrating noise. So far it’s been quiet. 2 Quote Link to comment
kruler
I know this is an old thread but could you tell me how you removed the clips? Did you drill out the pegs? Quote Link to comment
Txplicit
Did you just set the whole skimmer down into chamber 1? I have the hydor slim skim as well, but can seem to get it perfectly dialed in. I have it sitting just under the top fill slots on the skimmer front. Quote Link to comment
