NanoAaron Posted March 7, 2018 Share Posted March 7, 2018 instead of hanging it on the back, cant you stack some books or something to support the weight while still having it as close to the tank as it would be if it were actually hanging? Could also get creative and glue together an egg crate stand for it. egg crate+superglue is my answer for everything! Quote Link to comment
Bingo1213 Posted March 8, 2018 Share Posted March 8, 2018 I once built a HOB refugium out of an aqua clear 70 HOB filter. It worked well but of course did not provide a ton of extra water volume to the system. I just used a clamp on lamp with a 6500k CFL bulb in it for light. I had this on a 10 gallon tank with no issues. Granted this was a long time ago before companies were making HOB refugiums. Quote Link to comment
