mitten_reef
I named my coris wrasse banana too! Too bad mine didn’t make it, don’t think it had enough food to forage. 1 Quote Link to comment

It was roughly 1.5in when I got it, now it’s easily pushing 3in. I was wondering why I had no pods lol Quote Link to comment
mitten_reef
30 gallon, it was 3” when I got it. I just don’t have enough pods in my tank for pod-loving fish. 😢 Quote Link to comment
This guy is extra salty
And an update banana has buried itself which I doubt I’ll find banana again since I couldn’t find it in a 20gallon tank now it’s in a space that’s 10x the water volume...I’m going to be looking for a new wrasse now lol I’m thinking a six line.. This guy is extra salty
July update!! (Picture heavy) everything has been going quite wonderfully, no issues with anything nuisance related(fingers crossed) from last month when I had a tank sitter dump a weeks worth of food everyday for a week. I had to run my refugium for 18 hours daily for 3 weeks before coming back to normal parameters. As for anything new, I have been fragging a lot of my growout colonies to local reefers and stores. It’s funny when your LFS asks you what you have for sale ?♂️ So with the passing of Fourth of July i found out my dogs believe the safest place to be is in the fish room when your frag tank has too much growth and needs room for new coral I realized mint montipora developed a pink body and green growth this jigglypuff acropora has become a weed literally, guess I better start buying 3in tiles.. my favorite rainbow acan colony, I’m deciding if I should frag it up. now for my fishes all of them are doing great! It’s a bit hard to get a picture of all of them in one shot on a different note Butters(yellow eye kole tang) found out that my NPS yellow finger gorg has/had algae on it and is basically eating it I have since moved it to a different area so it can get some rest. Maybe it will spring back? I will be fragging these two pretty soon montipora spongodes and Ultra Orange acan. Keep it salty, keep on reefing! 1 Quote Link to comment
This guy is extra salty
Ok I have been meaning to do an update for a bit but here it goes.. i haven’t really been able to go onto a “vacation” due to my tanks stock ATO reservoir is only 7 gallons and lasts maybe 3-4 days if dialed down to a trickle. Which was annoying cause I had to constantly refill it and did not want to risk running a straight line from my RODI unit i decided to buy a used JBJ ATO and upgrade the reservoir to a 20gallon brute container which I did for my frag tank which Also lasted a 3-4 day max too it wasn’t rocket science to drill two holes one for the pump and the other as a quick disconnect refill nipple. I had some extra 1/4in RO bulkheads that were collecting dust, so why not use them? The picture below is it being filled. Hopefully it can last maybe two weeks before being filled again.. (hopefully) Now what to do with the stock container...I kind of realized the beauty of not having to move it out the way for maintenance now maybe I should start a nano build... so for the August update I will leave some pictures for you.. a photobombing ninja posing in front of an acro growth shot.. one month of growth 🤤 if only the rest of them were to do that.. 🤦♂️ I will soon have to move these plugs onto 3in tiles.. stay salty , and keep on reefing!
