fishkeepersaltnfresh
I have had this superman mushroom for over 3 months now. When I got it, it was the size of a dime. It has now grown to nearly 3 inch in width. This week I observed a small baby mushroom next to it. I thought that mushroom's spilt to create new ones. Ignorant me. Quote Link to comment

Ignorant me. Some mushrooms split, some drop babies. It’s always a nice surprise either way. 1 Quote Link to comment
OPtasia
Sometimes they'll move, too, and leave bits behind that grow into new babies. 1 Quote Link to comment

fishkeepersaltnfresh
Better look at the babies 2 months later. One is a replica of mommy. 2nd not so much. PS. Disregard the bubble algae. 1 Quote Link to comment
Clown79
I love superman mushrooms! So pretty. Mushrooms can split, create babies, move and leave flesh for a new one. 1 Quote Link to comment
