Can these aquariums be drilled on the back panel?

I would have a 16” Shadow overflow & two 1/2” returns.

Considering a UNS 60u since the ADA 60p I purchased ended up being destroyed by the USPS.

They can be on any side and bottom. All the glass is non tempered.

I know I'm late to the party, but I just got a 45a the other day.  It will be some kind of reef biotope.  Trying to figure out the best way to place it, as well as find a stand for it.

I just got mine set up with substrate and rock, filling her up and she's cycling.  Granted, I'm using live sand, live rock from my main tank that's three years old, and some Dr Tims, I'm hoping to get stuff in there Wednesday.

Also thanks to Tigahboy for inspiration for setting up the 45.   His tanks are stunning.

That I did and I am going to forego doing the plumbing and let him handle all that.

I am trying to decide on blacking out or frosting the back panel with the overflow on it.

@Bella's Reef - plan on creating a build thread?  I'd love to follow it.

I do, it will be very interesting as this is the 3rd tank I received and finally not destroyed by USPS or UPS.

It was custom made by @Oceanbox Designs a few years back. I'm not sure they do custom work anymore but you might ask them.

I want to say they quit doing it. I'll just have to hit up Mike @ Micro Reefs and see what he quotes me.

Hello, first time reefer here. I have only kept freshwater/ planted tanks and always been intimidated by saltwater aquariums. I finally took the dive earlier this year.

Here’s my UNS 60A, 20 gallons All In OneA71DB6DD-FEB0-479B-A9CE-42F3C0289B7A.thumb.jpeg.73c0e8a8512425e4a14686a975dbda7b.jpeg
