I ask because I have two clownfish, a coral banded shrimp, and a CUC made up of hermit crabs and snails. I am likely going to move the two clowns to my 20L and replace them with 1 fancy clown. Keeping up with nutrients has been chore and looks to only get worse as the pair of clowns gets larger. Yeah, I bought the second Prime used and the purchases were spread apart by several months. My plan is to eventually upgrade to a larger tank when we move to a bigger house in a year or so. My lighting plan right for larger tank is one of the aquatic life LED/T5 hybrid fixtures incorporating both primes over the new tank. It's an investment! Hah. Quote Link to comment

ServingAces15 Posted February 14, 2018 Share Posted February 14, 2018 Gonna join in with all of you! You all have gorgeous tanks! Here's my year old Fluval Evo. Currently running the stock light but I found that the tank overheats really quickly in the summer time so I took a table saw to the hood and created a 'T top' tank. I also added a fan to cool it in the summer. As you can see I am heavily battling GHA but this picture is 2 weeks old and it's starting to die back a bit as I just installed an InTank media basket (which I HIGHLY) recommend. Oh well there are plenty of ways to grow corals. I do love that light and will definitely get another when I move the tank to its own room. Quote Link to comment
