*Anemone* hitchhiker on nassarius

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, with school going on I can't sit on my computer for an hour or two trying to find out what this might be. It came attached to my nassarius snail's shell and looks kind of like a mushroom to me but it has what looks to be tentacles that retract. Should I remove it from him, as he spends most of his time burrowed. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Here's a better shot of it. I'm thinking an anemone. It seems cool though, it lets me know where my snail is

Same here and there's virtually no information on it, so I'll try to fill in as much as I can about it and my experience with it through my videos and posts here..... well unless my peppermint decides it's a good snack for him because they are in the same family as aiptasia I believe.
