Would you redip all of the coral or just the zoas? Will I find the eggs on the rock or the zoas and plugs? Thanks Mark!ย Quote Link to comment

I noticed closed up colonies after adding a few mushrooms and a really cool paly from the lagoon. Thereโs some closed colonies in the lagoon too so when I get back home today Iโm going to inspect both tanks and dip as much as I can from each tank. Itโll be easier to dip from the 5g since nothing has grown over their plugs but the lagoon has a bunch that have grown over. Iโve used bayer before abs noticed more insects coming off when dipping with. I think Iโll switch back to it. I just donโt know if the nudi will be laying their eggs around the zoas only or everywhere in the tank... Thanks Tamberav! Quote Link to comment

You then stick the vacuum end back in the water and release your thumb from the tube. But I like the taste of saltwater lol reminds of the beach! ? CarolinaShoreReef
???โโ๏ธ? Outside temp went to 80ย today and my parents didnโt turn on the AC so when I got back my room was 79 degrees ??? ? and my tank was 84 again.. The hydor theo heater was still on, I never see that thing shut off and itโs set to 77... needless to say I unplugged it and a hour later my tanks down to 82. I contacted DrF&S and too see if I can get credit back on the heater and just replace it with another one. Any suggestions? I have a tetra preset one thatโs a 50w but I think I want to do 25w or lower now. Id like to go no heater too but in the summer when the AC is always on the house sits around 72ish.ย ย This definitely explains why my gsp has been closed up and my torch and tongue are super sad looking.ย ย Ps I always keep my fans on in my room because i canโt sleep without them ?ย Quote Link to comment

Tamberav
Looks to be it or for 6 bucks more you can hook a fan to the cooling side. ย Heaters are the most unreliable piece of equipment, unfortunately when they go bad, they can also kill everything in the tank ย I try to run a controller on every tank just so I have a backup when the heater decides one random day to fry everything. When you start counting the $$$ in the tank as it fills up... a $30 tank saver isn't so bad! ย ย 1 Quote Link to comment

Tamberav
A fan aimed at the water on the tank, increasing evaporation will cool the tank if its needed. People use computer fans or clip-on fans. CarolinaShoreReef
Okay so I moved the clowns and yasha goby outย today. Nauti, the TS blenny, is loving the house to himself ? My torch is still looking really sad. My hammer started looking better though and the spawns are all doing good... tongue is still sad looking but thatโs usual after a wc. Zoas have been removed from rocks and dipped. Now on the rack again for easy access. I didnโt see any eggs or other nudi. CarolinaShoreReef
Does anyone think I should move the torch around? It was happy in that location for the past few weeks.
