Macintosh
So I've had this guy for about a month. 3 or 4 days ago it shrunk a bit and spit out some brown junk and an hour later it was all puffed out again and looked great. This afternoon still all puffed out looking happy then tonight looks like this. What on earth is going on! Quote Link to comment
brianinak
I am new to this, coral's poop out of months, or could be ejecting excessive zooxanthallae Quote Link to comment
Macintosh
I think that it was just pooping my question is more the being all scrunched up. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
NanoRox
I think that's just the nature of euphyllia corals. I have a hammer that does the same thing from time to time. Frogspawn as well. Only thing I might ask is how much flow you may have on him? Quote Link to comment
Macintosh
Medium indirect flow. When he's all puffed out tentacles sway back and forth Quote Link to comment
NanoRox
That's fine then. If he comes out (puffs up) and you see him occasionally retract like this, I would not be concerned at all IMO. Quote Link to comment
