That is a bike water bottle holder, for your bicycle. Works well with the 600ml variant of the hamster bottle 1 Quote Link to comment
Nelson
I hope to posts some pictures soon with the orange filter I ordered on Aliexpress. The wall hammer shows long tentacles on the side of the bubble coral. Are they going to war? Or is the light not sufficient for the wall hammer (reaching for light)? I still don't understand these crazy things. 2 Quote Link to comment
Nelson
This vase could be an interesting shallow/lagoon type pico reef, with irregular flow patterns. I wish it wasn’t that shallow (5cm) and expensive (300 euro) haha 2 Quote Link to comment
Reefkid88
A aqualifter pump would be great for flow in that vase. Plus add the little prefilter that comes with it add some carbon and a sponge and your set. 1 Quote Link to comment
Joevember
Where did you pick up the tank? I really want to pick up a couple to put on my shelf and have a FW and SW dueling display, but I'm in the US and can't find any retailers. Also love the clown goby, cute. 1 Quote Link to comment

Picked it up here: https://www.azaqua.nl/en/cube-garden/cube-garden-45-f-45x24x16. They only sell in Europe. I don't know where you can get these in the US, but I saw some more 45F tanks here on the forum. 1 Quote Link to comment

Aqua Forest Aquarium carries this tank. UNS makes some shallow ones too (found at the Buce Plants website), I think, and Aqua Lab Aquaria carries various rimless tanks, I believe including this one. 1 Quote Link to comment
Nelson
This weekend I will be moving the reef into a new home, roughly 100km away from where it is now. First I decided to sell everything and take a break, but since everything is doing so well with low maintenance I will give it a try. Of course, I'm a little bit nervous about it. The heat packs arrived just in time and I will be using some Tupperware for the corals and fish. Do you guys have any other tips, tricks or suggestions for the move? Thanks! PS: Just realized it's difficult to order something from the Mame design website (I was thinking about the Mame skimmer mini!) 1 Quote Link to comment

Nelson
In the meantime I had some sort of a tank crash and lost the minimal biodiversity I already had. I came to realize real reef rock wasn't the solution so I replaced it with live rock (which adds some biodiversity). In my opinion the live rock has more porosity and permeability, combined with enough flow more filtration. Also took away the skimmer and now there is some sand. I will see how it goes from now on.🙂 1 Quote Link to comment
debbeach13
The tank looks very nice. I like that design. The coral look healthy. Nice and Puffy. Glad to see you are still reefing. 1 Quote Link to comment
