zak.payne
As my tank is finally cycled and things are stable, I'm ready to add new fish to my system. It is a RSM E-170 currently stocked with three yellowtail damsels, a peppermint shrimp, and snails and hermits. I'd like to do stuff that's more unique since I don't have all the space in the world, so any recommendations for fish or inverts are greatly appreciated! Quote Link to comment
seabass
For a 45 gallon tank, those damsels might be a problem with other fish going forward. You'll need something that can stick up for itself. Maybe a pseudochromis (dottyback) and/or a hawkfish. 1 Quote Link to comment
TheNanoReefer303
Yeah the damsels could be a huge problem in the future. Yeah you would have to get an aggessive like fish. If you didnt have them you would have plenty of options Quote Link to comment
zak.payne
I may leave them as the only three fish in the system. Keeps the bioload down, too. Maybe just focus on inverts and corals. Quote Link to comment
