Planning, Building, and Stocking Refugium :D

I have a 10 gallon drilled tank I'm going to use as a refugium, and I plan to put some chaeto and pods in it, maybe some biomedia. I need to find a light to grow the chaeto with, but as my budget is pretty thin, I'm looking at using these:

I use a finnex to light my fuge. Works pretty well. I cut my chaeto every two weeks or so. The chaeto doesn't grow insanely fast, but it is super dark and very dense. Check out brstv on YouTube, they did a when series on chaeto lights.  I would save up and get a light that is programmable and such. You would be able to control spectrum way better, and make life easier in the long run. At least that's what I'm doing.

That Finnex is a great fuge light.  You should have a freshwater group near you where someone is selling one for a steal.

I use a magnafuge light. If you have a budget, consider just a cheap warm white LED in a simple mogul based light fixture.

I'm still looking at a par or hanging light, because I'd like to add some mangroves.
