JBA 108 Watts Thermostatic Water Chiller Heater from EBAY

Hi,

 

Did someone try to purchase this Chiller/heater from EBAY? Bought one and  it doesn't work well in my tank(13gal).

I just bought it for $169 from ebay. Operated on my nano tank. 30deg celsius to 27 deg celsius in three hours. (not sure if it is suppose to be like that)

The adaptor that comes with it becomes very hot when in operation.

my tank is 35x30x25..26litres..so works up to be 7Gal? *im quite bad at converting these*

 

How long did u let it run? did your adaptor heat up?

I am using this pump atm (photot). It is an adjustable 300 liter/hr pump and my temp now is in 27-28 deg.  My tank is 13 gal AIO and still cant have it run under 26 degrees. Its summer here so the weather is so hot right now. I have also installed 3 minifans just to lower down the temp to 27. 

 

Did you try to set it down to 26 degrees?

Im running it for 24 hours and have no problem with the heat up. I think the first pump that I used was so strong that the water temp is not decreasing.  After i changed the pump it just lowers down to 2 degrees.
